Age (General Help)
In The Two Towers we calculate your character's age. This age is the
total time you have spent in the game since your character creation. Your
age is always displayed in your score. The "legend" command will display
age as well, for your character and others.
Age increases as you play, however it will not increase when you are
idle. This is made so it is an actual measure of your activity, and not
for example time when you were away from keyboard. The idle threshold for
age counting is 30 seconds - that means, if you do not type any command
for 30 seconds, your age will stop increasing. It will start again as
soon as you type anything (even press ENTER). Bear in mind that working
around this limit to artificially age your character through client
triggers, timers or scripts is illegal and subject to punishment.
Character age is often interpreted as your experience with the game
as well. Many game systems will base your "readiness" to do some thing
on the age. For example, you cannot change your race until you have
aged 5 days, apply for playtester status, etc.
