Alchemy (Tradeskills Help)

The alchemy tradeskill allows one to brew different components together to form things such as potions and poisons. A trained alchemist can see the inherent properties contained in many natural substances.

Almost no single substance is powerful enough to have a formula extracted from it. Because of this, it is often necessary to combine multiple different substances in order to procure a potion.

Upon successfully 'brew'ing substances together, a potion will be created. The inherent nature of this potion is determined by the properties of the substances that were brewed together. Only through experimentation will the true nature of a potion be discovered.

However, while experimenting at random can sometimes create a useful potion, there are more sure ways to learn correct combinations. The alchemy tradeskill trainers usually know one or two, and there are also several quests around Arda that have an alchemy recipe as their main reward.
