Battleground objectives (PvP Help)

There are several objectives involved with success within the battleground. As you enter, you start with zero equipment and a small amount of gold. Using this gold, you can purchase a piece of equipment or two and begin fighting.

Fighters from each side are constantly joining the battle and making their way to the battlefield. By defeating enemies and helping clear the battlefield, you can earn gold to purchase additional equipment. This includes powerful weapons and armour sets that dramatically alter your characters prowess in battle.

Each side has three Protection Points that restrict movement across the battlefield. These are guarded by powerful NPCs that must be defeated in order to conquer the point. Once a point has been taken, enemy players can move freely through it. In addition, the opposing side is awarded gold when the point is taken.

There are neutral challenges and hidden features that can be found throughout the area. Some of these have rewards that can turn the tide of the battle, and they should not be ignored.

The main objective of the battle is to defeat the opposing leader. The leaders are dramatically more powerful than other combatants and each has an array of special abilities that they can use in combat. Once the leader is defeated, the battleground comes to a close and players will be transported out of the area.
