Death (Combat Help)
When your HP drop below 0 for any reason, you fall to the ground
unconscious and start bleeding. If no one bandages you, your HP will keep
going down until it reaches -10, at which point you die. When you die, you
become a ghost. As a ghost, you have limited commands. Essentially, all
ghosts can do is speak, walk, and look. In order to regain your earthly
form you must find a cemetery or a healer. Nearly every single town in
the game has at least one cemetery or healer capable of reviving. At a
cemetery, "rest in peace" or just "rest" to return to life. Some healers
can also restore your life if you "request reviving" from them.
Note: |
For the first 3 deaths that you suffer while still at levels 1-5,
you will be automatically teleported to the nearest cemetery or
healer, which should shorten the process of reviving.
|
When you return to life, you'll notice that you have lost some stats,
skills and experience. Stats and skill losses are random, but never
more than 2 points of each. Experience loss is 1/5 (20%) of your current
experience, however it will never be more than 1,000,000 (one million).
Your level will be lowered too, except for the case when your modified
stats and experience are sufficient to maintain the current one.
In case of player-caused deaths (playerkilling), the additional penalty
for death will be a temporary commban lasting 15min.
You will not have your equipment or gold on yourself when you revive,
with the exception of autoloading items. They will stay at your corpse
where you died, in the same way as dead NPCs' equipment remains on their
corpses. It is probably a very good idea to return to your corpse soon
after reviving to ensure someone doesn't take your equipment.
