Group (Configuration command)

group <mode>

The group command can be used to set when items are grouped together in a room based on how they look. The following modes are available; each mode is a valid argument to this commands:

• always - the default; group items always, regardless of command.
• never - never group items together.
• look - group items only when using the 'look' command.
• glance - group items only when using the 'glance' command.

Example of room description without grouping:

A room(n and s)
 A short sword
 A short sword
 A torch

Example of room description with grouping:

A room(n and s)
 A short sword [2]
 A torch
