Guild foods (Guild Help)
Guild foods are purchasable by guild members at guild bars. The
list of foods and drinks is customizable, to be set by the Guildmaster.
It can be done in the guild bar with the 'menuedit' command. A guild
may serve as many foods and drinks as they like, but there are costs
associated with adding items to your menu:
- For the first 2 foods, it will cost 5000 gold each to add a food.
- For the first 3 drinks, it will cost 5000 gold each to add a drink.
As you exceed 2 foods or 3 drinks, it will cost an additional 15000
gold per tier of foods or drinks. For example, your third and fourth food
will cost 20000 gold. The fifth food will cost 35000 gold. The fourth
drink will cost 20000 gold and the seventh drink will cost 35000 gold.
There is no rent associated with food or drink items, though there is
a 5000 gold rent fee for the bar itself.
The foods for the bar are chosen from a pre-defined list, although
guildmasters have the option to make one with a custom description
through the use of submission command. A GM may use a submission request
of type 'desc' to obtain a special custom food or drink for their guild
that no other guild can have. The custom food must mimic a food or drink
that already exists in Arda and is sold in a bar/tavern/shop, and is NOT
quested. The submission must include the food name, ids, short and long
descriptions, as well as any special messages the player and onlookers
will get when the player eats/drinks. Once approved, your custom food
will be available in 'menuedit' in the bar and the prices associated with
it will be exactly the same as any regular food.
