The harvesting tradeskill is used to harvest various materials from the lands. For example, you may be able to use your harvesting tradeskill to harvest wheat from a field, or to shear sheep. You will know if your harvesting tradeskill can be put to use in a particular situation if a tradeskill NPC is present to instruct you.
