Numenorean (Races Help)
The Black Númenóreans are as the Dúnedain: tall, regal, and long-
lived. Unlike their fairer brethren, however, their reputation is one of
aged, terrible evil. As the King's Men of Númenor, their ancestors once
attempted to seize Valinor by force at the urging of Sauron himself.
Although this effort failed, the sheer arrogance and iron will they
demonstrated in defying the gods themselves remains to this day.
More than their counterparts, the Black Númenóreans have dwindled in
the Third Age. They have no lands to call their own, but they are
respected lords and masters of the realms in which they choose to settle.
Brilliantly manipulative and terrifyingly intelligent, they are known
best as powerful necromancers, dabbling in curses and other foul magic
that the other races lack the capacity to understand or wield. Having
once worshipped Morgoth, they now stand with Sauron, serving among his
chief officers and agents.
The Black Númenóreans speak Adunaic, albeit in a unique dialect.
