Report (PvP Help)
If you have been stolen from, attacked, killed, or someone attempted
to steal from you, it is a crime. You may report said criminals in a
courthouse. Most towns in Arda have one; in particular you may find a
courthouse on the map of your starting town.
When in a courthouse, just type "report" to submit a report against
another player. You will be then prompted for the offender's name and
type of crime that was committed. See "help lawsys" for more details
on what happens next.
The following additional rules apply to reports:
- Free Race players can only report in Free Race towns' courthouses; Evil
Race players can only report in Evil Race towns.
- An attempted murder must be reported before you log off or go linkdead.
- Any other crime must be reported before 7 RL days pass since it was
committed.
- A valid report of an attempted murder (ie. made before logging off/
going linkdead and when the offender is indeed guilty) will cause
combat between you and the criminal to stop.
