Spar (Combat command)
Usage: |
spar <player> spar start spar stop spar leader <player> spar party <player> spar everyone
|
Sparring is the act of fighting with other players completely
outside of the lawsys. It is a mutual act which cannot be reported in
a courthouse.
To join a spar session, type 'spar <player>' and have your opponent do
the same with your name. The first player to use the spar command will
become the spar session leader. The leader can then invite additional
players to join the session using the same command.
Just being in a spar session does not allow you to actually spar with
other members; the actual sparring can only be started by the session
leader with the 'spar start' command. When the sparring has begun,
combat between sparring partners will be outside of the lawsys -
be careful not to attack before your leader has started the session!
Any player may leave the spar by using 'spar stop'. To prevent abuse
(constant PK protection), there is a 5-minute delay between spars for
all players.
The spar leader may abdicate leadership to another sparring partner
via 'spar leader <player>'.
You may initiate a spar with a player's entire party (including that
player) by using 'spar party <player>'.
You may initiate a spar with everyone in the room by using 'spar
everyone'.

NOTE: |
Several warrior trainers use the 'spar' command as their main
training command. When near such a trainer, typing just 'spar'
will cause you to train at the trainer, while using any of the
arguments mentioned above will run the 'spar' command as usual.
