Valar (MUD Theme Help)

The Valar are the most powerful forces in Arda, and the greatest in the universe after Eru, the One. They are known as the Powers of Arda, and mortals have often called them gods. Other mortal titles given to the Valar include "the Authorities", "Guardians of the World", and the "Lords of the West".

The Lords of the Valar number eight; the Valier, Queens of the Valar, seven. These are their names among mortals:

The Lords: Manwë (also called Súlimo), Ulmo, Aulë, Oromë (also named Aldaron), Mandos (Námo), Lórien (Irmo), Tulkas (Astaldo) and lastly Melkor, the Bane of Arda, now called by men Morgoth, the Great Enemy, the Dark Power of the North, or the Black Power.

The Queens: Varda (also called Elbereth), Yavanna (Kementári), Nienna, Estë, Vairë, Vána and Nessa.
