Lag (General Help)

Lag is the common name for 'unresponsiveness' of the MUD to your commands, or a significant delay before you receive a response. Apart for some very special cases (which usually are announced prior), your perceived lag is not due to the MUD, the server, or the Ainur. It is almost invariably due to traffic on the internet, or downed routers somewhere along your path to the MUD. It could also be your ISP.
