Search (Room command)
When you are stuck and looking for what to do next in a quest,
sometimes a search is in order. This will allow you to check an object
for hidden things. If you were to 'search wall' you just might discover
a secret passage, for example. Typing 'search' with no argument will
search the room itself. If a thief is hidden in the room, a search will
discover him, provided your awareness is high enough. Searching a room
can be time consuming, so doing so while in combat will make you busy
for a few rounds.
The standard cost of searching is 3 EP, although it may vary slightly
amongst different quests.
