The stop command will cause you to stop fighting other players and
mounts you own. Players will still attack you on sight unless they also
stop fighting you. You may also stop combat with a specific player via
'stop [player].' This command can be used to detect if someone has really
initiated combat with you or merely fooled you with an emote. Use the
'stop' command to see if you are fighting them after they leave the room -
if it says 'You are not in combat with anyone.', it means you were not
really attacked.
Note that apart from using the stop command, the combat between you
and another player may be ended automatically in the following
circumstances:
Leaving Mordor will abort all combat that started inside,
regardless of whether you were the victim or the attacker.
If you are a victim of an attempted murder, reporting your
attacker in a courthouse will stop combat with him/her.
If you are a victim of an attempted murder, quitting or
going link-dead will stop combat with your attacker, without
requiring any action on their part (such as using "stop").
This only applies to attempts that were reportable in the first
place, so Mordor combat and attacking wanted players does not
count here.
