Surname (Character command)
Usage: |
surname <name> surname <on|off> surname
|
The surname command allows Roleplayers to show off their heritage
by attaching a name to the end of their title. This surname can only
be 14 characters long, and can only be changed once per 3 days of
character age.
'Surname on' will turn your surname on, just as 'surname off' will
turn it off. Note, however, that surnames only display for players
level 4 and up.
Surname by itself will tell you what your surname is, and whether
or not you have it turned on.
Haradrim characters can start their names with a single quotation
mark, and their name will conform to the Haradrim naming convention.
The surname is case-sensitive, the first letter will NOT be capitalized
unless you input it so! You cannot use colorcodes with your surname.
Surnames will be held to the same standards as 'help titles'. Setting
a surname that will produce an unthematic or otherwise inappropriate title
may result in the removal of the surname or the deletion of the character
in very extreme cases of repeated abuse. Please think about your surname
before you set it.
For example: While the character name of 'Johnny' is acceptable,
setting a surname of 'Appleseed' and a title of 'Traveler and
Horticulturist' would not be acceptable.
