Align (Interaction command)
Usage: |
align <living> align <player> full align me align me here
|
The align command will tell you the alignment of a being, so that
you will know who to kill to stay good... or evil. Proper alignment
detection is strongly based on your awareness. For a list of possible
values, type 'help alignment'.
In addition to the alignment, the align command will show you the
being's race, and in some cases, their community allegiance. Killing
community members will lower your status with that community, which in
the end might lead to the community services (such as shops or inns) to
steeply increase prices for you. Killing community enemies may flag you
as being in good standing with the community, but only if you didn't
also kill any of its members. If, however, the align text states that
"It is unlikely that anyone would care if this <npc> was killed.", you
may kill the NPC freely with no penalties.
To view your current standing with Arda's major communities, type
'align me'. Be aware, though, that this only lists truly major cities
of Arda and will not show your community standing of small towns. That
specific information can only be queried in the town itself, by typing
'align me here'.
The cost of aligning a creature (or another player) is 10 EP.
Aligning yourself is free. Aligning someone while in combat will make
you busy for one round.
For an additional cost of 10 EP, the 'full' option can be included.
This will return the player's status for mailboxes across Arda.
