Appraise (Thief ability)

appraise <victim|object>

When used on a victim, this command tells you approximately how much
gold someone has in their gold pouch. It also shows some of the items
they are carrying.
When used on an item in your possession, this command tells you
approximately how much gold it would be worth in the shop if in perfect
condition. The range is: worthless, nearly worthless, worth a few coins,
worth a handful of coins, worth a pouchful of coins, valuable, very
valuable, extremely valuable, and priceless.
Appraise is primarily a thief ability; its success is based on the
theft skill. A successful attempt costs 10 EP, while a failed one 5 EP.
