Pvp (Combat command)
Usage: |
pvp pvp <on | merciful>
|
The 'pvp' command used by itself will tell you your current PvP status
and when you last changed it. The 'on', and 'merciful' arguments switch
the flag.
When your flag is 'on':
- You can attack other players, and can be attacked.
- You can steal from other players, and can be stolen from.
- You can use the contract system.
When your flag is 'merciful':
- You can attack other players, and can be attacked, however you
cannot die from a PvP fight. When you lose, you will be knocked
unconscious and lose your gear, as if the attacker had their merciful
option turned on.
- You cannot steal from other players, but can be stolen from.
- You cannot use the contract system.
'help pvp flag' contains more detailed information on effects of the flag.
For changing in general (all changes):
- You must not be in a lawless area.
- You must not be in a lawless state (wanted).
- You must not be in combat (either active, or having escaped but
both parties not yet having used the 'stop' command).
- You must be in a courthouse.
- You must have aged 1 day since you last changed your status.
Additionally, for switching the flag to the 'less dangerous' level
(ie. on->merciful):
- You must not have any recent crimes (any act committed within
the last 7 days).
- You must not have a subpoena pending or a lawsys fine to pay.
