Guild maintenance (Guild Help)
There are a number of ways in which gold is removed from guild vaults.
Aside from the purchase cost of guild features (see 'help guild prices'),
there is rent (see 'help guild rent' and 'help guild armoury'), warcosts
(see 'help guild alliances'), and fines for violations. These fall
into two categories: membership and kill restriction violations.
Violating membership restrictions will cost a guild 2,000 gold per
percentage point off-target per month. If Guild A has a <=20% Evil
membership restriction and 26% of ACTIVE members are lower than Impartial,
they will be charged 12,000 gold. Note that membership restrictions may
specify races, alignments, and professions; any of these which are
'Disliked' by the guild (see 'help guild application') are limited to <=
10%, as a general rule. In order for a member to be considered 'active',
they must have aged 4 hours or more in the past 30 days.
Kill restrictions (KRs) generally also specify alignments and races,
but can include community membership and may even specify NPCs by name.
KRs are designated in the guild application. The cost is 5,000 gold
for each violation of a kill restriction (which may, depending on the
timing, be split between two months' rent). The only way to avoid the
fine once a violation has been committed is for the offending member to
be removed from the guild.
For warcosts, see 'help guild alliances'.
